The beautifully designed website and variety of workshops should mean you wouldn’t hesitate in your decision to book.

Review: I’ve been dreaming about starting a career in floral design and growing for years, but have been looking for the right course to get me started – which I found with the School of Sustainable Floristry! Cissy’s dedication to the craft of floral design is contagious, and I really felt I got a lot more than expected in terms of education around how to get the most from and working with the flowers you are using. Lucy’s beautiful home and flowers were a joy to work with, and set my aspirations high for my own growing. Most importantly, I left the 3 days with the confidence to really give this a go, which is invaluable – I was able to design arrangements for a loved one’s funeral just two weeks later and was overwhelmed with what I was able to achieve following Cissy’s guidance. Thank you to the school – I am so looking forward to the next 3 seasons.

Review: I really enjoyed my two days with Cissy and Lucy, such a warm welcome from them in gorgeous surroundings. The wedding floristry course was brilliant and despite being a novice I came away feeling confident with making further arrangements. A real bonus of the course was getting an insight into Lucy’s flower farm and seeing how she deals with all that is involved in running a plot successfully. Cissy is extremely creative and I love how we were able to develop our arrangements with the bonus of it all being sustainable. Would thoroughly recommend the course.

Review: An excellent intensive workshop over 2 days with lots of practical floral design, as well an insight into the flower growing process and the level of commitment it takes to grow beautiful, seasonal flowers. Review: I absolutely loved my first 3 days of training with Cissy at The School of Sustainable Floristry near Bedford. Her good humour puts you at ease. Lucy, on whose flower farm the course is located was so welcoming. The team prepared delicious lunches for us every day. We were generously gifted all materials plus some equipment to take home. As for the floristry, I enjoyed the process, the style and appreciated that the course focused on seasonal flowers. It was an absolute joy and I can’t wait for the next module! Meanwhile there is The Business of Floristry to get on with and more online study to complete making this a well rounded course. Thank you.
